Girls in special education are more likely to experience sexual border crossings.

Girls at cluster 4 secondary special education schools are more likely to come into contact with sexual border crossings than girls at regular schools. This is evident from the study ‘Sex under your 25th special education’ that Rutgers and STI AIDS Netherlands are presenting today. For example, 27% of these girls were once forced into sexual activities during their lives, while this applies to 7% of girls in mainstream education.
