This document is a conference report. (International Conference in Berlin Humbolt Care 15-16 May 2017).  (Hosted by the Federal Centre for Health Education -BZgA-)

Over 180 experts on sexual education have attended to the conference together with NGOs, institutions and international organizations.

In the parallel session of sexuality education: approaches for specific target groups and settings, Prof. Dr. Charlotta Lofgren-Martenson made a presentation about disable adolescents and sexual education for them. There were good examples from Sweden, Switzerland and Ukraine.

The presentations showed the importance of educating staff members and parents, as people with intellectual disabilities may be in a lifelong dependency situation.
